Back To School Party 2009
For those who have not yet attended a Florida Moonshine party, here are some of the comments made by people who attended our 2009 Back to School party:
Great weekend. Thank you very much. You guys all worked so hard to create a fun, seamless, smooth and enjoyable.
Wow! I had the best time at my first FMS Party! You all made me feel right at home, immediately! I truly got the 'Warmest' of Welcomes (No wait...that is an understatement of understatements! ) Smiles! Welllll.... you know what I mean! I loved being able to get right in on the action and fun, too! (Detention included!) and appreciated all the efforts Tony, Ian and the many other's who organized the fun and activities which made the BTS party so enjoyable. You all are awesome! I too, made some new friends and look forward to getting to know each of you better in the future. It really was fun! Thanks Again!
Lisa
Thank you to everyone for making the weekend so enjoyable and for making us first timers so welcome and putting us both at ease. The party was so well organized and a lot of fun.

Once again FMS gave us an experience to remember. Everything ran smoothly, from the food served to the extra-curricular activities planned.
Y'know ... I think we all go through phases of interest in this thing we do. Sometimes it waxes, sometimes it wanes.
I came into this weekend less than enthusiastically, for no reason I can think of. Just in one of those troughs, I guess. I left feeling great, and grateful once more for opportunities and the chance for some fun.
Thanks to everyone, whether I played with you or not. Thanks to those who allowed me to explore in comfort, safety and trust. And thanks especially to those nearest and dearest, who once again made the day I walked into that first FMS munch the first among many best days of my life.

Well, the BTS party was fabulous, as always. Of course, that shouldn't come as any surprise. I honestly do think we've got the greatest collection of people ever. We were missing a few regulars, but aside from that, I couldn't have asked for anything more of the group. Just a really classy lot, and so much fun. As we all know, it's the people that make or break a party! (Okay, maybe the canes cracking in the background to keep the volunteers dilligently on task had something to do with it too.. )
Thank you Ian and Tony for keeping the wheels turning so smoothly. I know it takes a lot of time and effort to do so. There are loads of volunteers that deserve appreciation, too: Richard and Sissy, for registration and other things. Dave and Stacy, for organizing the entertainment. Emily, for organizing the grammar test. Patricia and the other women who accomodated the boy's detention. Diane, Michael, Sass, Hl, Dave and Stacy (again), for opening their suites to everyone and the hospitality. I'm sure there are plenty more, but I'm horrible at this, and oh SOOO good at putting my foot in my mouth.
And a BIG thank you to everyone who made my drive home so deliciously uncomfortable! *grins* Of course, the ache is dulling already, so it must be time to do it again. Which mean, if I don't see you beforehand, See you at the beach!
I would like to thank Patricia, for helping me to feel a part of the party. I have to thank her and the other tops, Amy Lynn, Cindy and Jules for the spanking at the bad boys thing this morning. It really put a smile on my face. You all are all great and i am greatful to meet you and everyone else as it is nice to be here. Thank you.

The comments of Curtis, Crain, Red and Aurora pretty much summarize my feelings about a great weekend. It's a very good thing when you can go someplace, hug people, find out about current directions in their lives (and of those close to them) and to get into a little fantasy world. You can't play with everyone, there just isn't enough time, but I sure hope that everyone got a smile from me. Thanks to those who made the party possible.

HL and I want to say thank you to all of the wonderful FMS people who made this party such fun. We arrived home safely last evening. "Re-entry" is always a challenge especially when the house is full of teenagers but I was smiling all evening. As usual, this party was fantastic! Thank you HM Tony, Ian, and all of the wonderful people who help make this group such a success. Thank you to all of the people who made time to play with HL and with me (I am sitting on a yummy sore bottom). As usual, there is never enough time and there were people I wanted to spend more time with and some that it would have been fun to play with but time (or a very sore bottom) didn't allow. The "play" as usual was fun but I think I cherish most the hugs and sense of connection that occurs when we all get together. Thanks go to Dave and Stacy for being perfect travel companions as well as dear friends. For those who have thought in the past that having a special relationship with "Judge Dave" gave me an advantage in court should now realize from HL's and my rather pathetic performance in the "Newly Red" game that Dave keeps the games absolutely fair and doesn't play favorites! (darn it!) June seems way too far away but if we don't see some of you before then, we will definitely see you at the Beach!
Sass and HL
I just wanted to say that I had a great time this weekend. I have made so many wonderful friends this past year through FMS and I had so much fun reconnecting with everyone (and making new friends) at the Back To School party. I really needed a break from work and I came home all relaxed and refreshed :-) I'm already excited to see everyone again at the Beach Party!!!
We wish to extend our thanks to everyone also-whether we played, dined, or conversed with you, we thoroughly enjoyed our time this weekend! The assembly was a lot of fun-everyone got in trouble for their stellar performances either in the classroom or on the exam:) Being the wallflower that I am, I also really enjoyed the games which Dave was so kind to host...
As Sass said, reconnecting with friends is what makes the group so much fun-the silly antics, the intense sessions, the bantering, relaxing in the hot tub, the genuine affection... thank you all! It is easy to understand why some people are willing to travel great distances just for a night or two of the pleasure of the FMS Family's company. Hm, Headmaster? Is that punctuated properly???
Thank you also for sharing in our happiness by celebrating with us.
Michael and Diane
Wow!!!! What a great weekend and a truly great group of people. You all made this party a really fun event. I know it sounds cliche, however, we can hold a party at the Taj Mahal, the venue is not as important as the great group of people that attend.
Alona we hope you are feeling better, you were greatly missed. Richard and Sissy did a wonderful job filling in for you with registration.
Special thanks to Michael and Diane for the wedding reception party Saturday afternoon and HL, Sass, Stacy and Dave for the suite party Saturday night, These added greatly to the festivities. Also a big thanks to Dave for organizing the fun games Saturday evening.
Thanks to Ms. Patricia and all the lady tops who organized and ran the school boy detention. I hope you naughty boys learned a good lesson.
Thanks to Michael, Cameron and Emily for making the school exams a very memorable and fun role play. All of the school girls who participated were a delight to behold, although some of the school uniforms were a little unorthodox. ;-)
Thank you to all the ladies who I had the pleasure to play with, special thanks to my girls Kay and Stella who continue to make me very happy.
Lastly thanks to my partners in crime Headmaster Tony and Alona who continue to make the dream of FMS a reality. I can't wait to see you all at the Tropical Beach Party (Turn Up The Heat) coming in June, 2010.
Ian
Great party. Thanks to all the FMS folks who put this together and made this possible and to the members who are always great to see again. Saturday morning detention was so much fun with Miss Patricia and Sister Spankulater( wearing a complete nun's outfit)along with the other teachers Miss Kay, Miss Cindy, and Miss Davis. Some of the excuses that the students gave for ending up in detention were hilarious. Caught smoking in the boys room, not turning in assignment, habitually late due to Attention Deficit Disorder(ADD) , and a foreign exchange student from Scotland(who had a kilt and scottish cap) who was not sure why he was there. Also special thanks to the ladies I played with over the weekend.....
Glenn
It was so nice to see you all again after all this time....picked up with you as if no time has passed. Thanks for all the "warm" attention I received during the weekend. I had a great time playing with a couple TOPs I had never played with before. AND I REALLY enjoyed being one of the headmistresses for all those naughty boys. Thanks for letting a "newbie" TOP feel welcome. As always, Tuesday is my sub-drop day, after a weekend of 4am paryting and then getting up at o'dark thirty on Monday to face the stark reality of work in DE. Thanks again to everyone who helped make it a great party.
I just want to thank all of you again for making me feel a part of the party. I really had a great time and i really enjoyed all the things to do. YOU folks know how to have a party. I can not wait to the next one. I promise i will not bring back the Scotish student next time :-)

Hello friends and thank you for the wonderful Saturday evening. Thanks to HeadMaster Tony and Ian (and Alona, I missed you!) For all who volunteered their time to make everything fun for those of us who came to party.
BTS was not what was originally planned in my mind but it was an honor to be there and I'm so glad I went. Bits told me to go and let our friends take care of me. That's just what I did and you did and I am glad of it. Thank you to everyone for their kind words and hugs.
Martha
